I believe in guest posting as it is a great way to expose your talent, your profile, your blog and the backlinks do start to pour in. All this fun until Google tries some new stunt.

Brian, it was a good experiment and I appreciate the opportunity. I’ll probably drop back in to BE and post something in the near future. Sometimes I have a blogging issue that doesn’t really fit any of my blogs, but would fit there.

Hi Alison, sorry for being so late with my comment. Guest blogging is great for promotion, branding and getting new readers. I should probably do it more often but I just don’t. Like you I’m busy keeping up with my own hobbies let a long starting to guest blog.

Those interested in guest posting should check out Ann Smarty’s MyBlogGuest site as a place to list your blog if you’re interested in publishing guest posts and find blogs in your niches that could want to publish yours.

We are brainstorming ways to syndicate our blog posts within specific niches where every word is written by us but we can create as many unique versions of each post as we desire. That functionality already exists so it is only a matter of developing methods to implement it.

Agreed. We have to weigh the benefits of putting the resources into our own blogs as opposed to doing it on another venue. Resources are limited!

I must admit that I have received more guest posts than I have given. With that being said, I did write a couple of guest posts earlier this month over at Blogger Luv. Like you, I also have several blogs and other web related projects so it is sometimes difficult to get another post out but I need to try harder because it is a great way to promote your blog.
