Husband’s Business Trips

My husband has to travel a lot for his job. I don’t really like it that much because sometimes he is gone for a whole week, if not two. Most of the time, I feel pretty safe when he is not home. But sometimes if I watch something kind of creepy on television or watch the news that is not that pleasant right before I go to bed, then I hear all kinds of noises while I am laying there and scare myself to death.

So far though, it hasn’t amounted to anything but my imagination. On my husband’s last business trip, he was commenting to a co-worker about how I get afraid being by myself so much. He told my husband that his wife used to be the same way until they got a security system through Security Choice. Now all she has to do is turn on the alarm when she comes in and doesn’t worry about a thing anymore. If anyone tried to break in, the security company would be notified and call the police. Also, he is notified on his cell phone if anything is opened while the alarm is set. That makes him feel like he is contributing to keeping his wife safe even though he is not there.

My husband has now decided that he is going to get us a security system too. I am beginning to feel safer already.

I have to leave my wife and son from time to time when traveling and I do worry about them. I think I might look into a security system of some kind now too, for my piece of mind as well as theirs!

My wife travels a lot for business. I don’t like it. I’m not worried about getting attacked, I just get lonely!

lenny, having a husband who used to qualify as a gold medallion every year, I completely feel your pain!

lenny, I feel your pain, it must be awful to be alone and not having someone to talk to or to have fun with. I’m not married, but when my girlfriend leaves to see her parents, I don’t feel well at all!!

It’s really sad to go on a business trip leaving our love ones. But for their future it will be worth it in the end.

That’s good for both of you especially to you. I mean these days, it’s very hard to trust the people around you. So it would be better if you have this security system to make sure that you will be safe even your husband isn’t there.
