Pain and Productivity

by Alison Moore Smith on January 17, 2012

If you spend many, many hours on the computer to make a living, like I do, you may  have noticed twinges of pain in your arms or hands. Some days I have a hard time using a can opener with that incessant twisting motion. I don’t know the cause (although I have my suspicions), but I do know that chronic pain can keep you from working, playing, and enjoying life to the fullest.

If you have a pain or discomfort stemming from inflammation, you should know that it can be a major cause of health problems.  Scientific evidence has shown rare antioxidants, called Betalains, reduce inflammation.

Great information, but how do you get your hands on a supply of betalains?

Nopalea is an anti-inflammtory wellness drink — offered by Trivita (a 12-year-old company) — from the the fruit of the Opuntia Ficus Indica. It is a cactus whose healing properties have been used for centuries and contains betalains. Taken daily, it can help the body:

  • Reduce inflammation
  • Cleanse itself of toxins
  • Promote health

If you deal with health problems or pain due to inflammation, this may help. You can try Nopelea by paying only the shipping charge of $9.95. Call 800.2003.7063 and get a sample. Let us know if it helps you become more productive!

It seems like a great drink. I however think that if you have health problems you should consult with a doctor so as to know what will work for your condition. Inflammations can be caused by so many things sand you need to know what you are suffering from before taking any medication.

Hi Alison,
I definitely can relate to that. My pain is in my shoulders (had the carpal tunnel surgery in 2002) so I know I am good there. I would love to try the drink, but the phone number has too many numbers in it. Although, I guess I could try it and see if it works. Thanks for sharing.

They say that Nopalea works differently from prescription drugs and other wellness drinks. Looks promising.
